Matt Ratterman is a Kentucky native, but has lived in Colorado longer than most natives have. He attended Mullen High School, then the University of Notre Dame, before completing his undergraduate work at Regis College. He earned his law degree from the University of Denver.
Matt joined Frie, Arndt & Danborn at the beginning of 2016. He enjoys talking to people about their legal needs and working with them to obtain the best possible outcomes. He is a friendly, good listener who is dedicated to working with and advocating for people facing legal challenges.
Matt has practiced law since 2001, specializing in the areas of trusts and estates, probate, elder law, family law, real estate, school law, employment law, civil litigation and contract law. For over ten years, Matt worked at one of the premier school law firms in Colorado, helping many school districts with their diverse legal needs. He has functioned as general counsel for school districts. Matt has litigated cases in Colorado and U.S. courts, and has argued successfully before appeals panels at both the state and federal levels.
Matt has lived in Jefferson County since 1985. When he is not working or spending time with his family, he enjoys hiking, photography, gardening and sports.
